For $1.99 you can watch the 4th quarter of a game. Is this a good idea or stupid?

Or just admitting that some fans don’t care until the end of the game

It's a very good idea. I can't see anything bad about this.

Having said that I can't ever see myself buying the fourth quarter of a regular season NBA game.

Basketball is the only sport in the world you can skip the first 95% of the game and usually miss nothing of consequence.

Where is tbe highlights sports package that I can stream from Twitter? With texting, taking selfies for Snapchat, and browsing Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, I doubt I have enough time to watch the whole fourth quarter unless Lebron is on of course. Lebron is tbe greatest.

Sorry about the cheap Lebron fanbase swipe, Shell. Don’t eat my soul. I think the millennials are too distracted to watch a whole game so the strategy will probably work.

Meh. I’ll tune in once it’s June to watch GS and Boston.

This is a genius way to capitalize on the only exciting part of a basketball game.

Not sure i’ll take advantage of it, but could be nice if you want to tune in to a close game.

The people in here talking about how bad the NBA’s product is...yikes
