How is this even a debate? Duncan is ranked ahead of Kobe all time and it's not even close

I have Duncan fifth and Kobe somewhere in the 10-12 range. So yeah.

Kobe scared me.

By position, Duncan.

Dude with ball with 6 seconds to go, trailing by 1, kobe.

pretty much the answer

Kobe is in that 15-25 range

Duncan is in the top 10 and the GOAT at his position

Duncan and it ain't close. Kobe played a position where there are to many that can be ranked above him. Duncan's stats and longevity at his position is just unreal.

This is a great debate, honestly. Tim is the greatest PF of all time. Kobe isn't the best SG of all time. I think I'm leaning TD here...

Duncan's ability to adapt to other roles over 15 years is why he gets the nod from me.

No, but he's the second best 2-guard of all time, and number one happens to be the GOAT.

Duncan may be better all time than Kobe, but it's close. Anyone that says that it isn't close is full of shite.

Duncan, but it closer than Kobe haters would want you to think.

Duncan is the best PF of all time. Kobe is the 2nd best SG of all time.

This has never made sense to me. People used to (still do) say this about Kobe vs Lebron, even though the numbers don't support this. But for the sake of argument, let's pretend that Kobe had exceptional numbers in these last second situations.

In what world does it make sense to take that guy who will be better in the 20 seconds of the <10% of games that come down to a final shot, than the guy who is going to be better the first 47 minutes in every game.
