So you can only be a non-bandwagon fan if you're from Chicago?

WGN and just as important, day games.
Summer days watching the Cubs was a staple for me as a kid.

I just turned 40 and the fact that the cubs were on TV when I got home from school and all during the summer made me a fan. Sandberg, Dawson, Grace, Maddux, Sutcliffe. The fact that the cubs were good during my impressionable years (84-90 really helped me become a fan.

Forgot about all the LSU guys they used to have.

All 2 of them? I've been a fan since childhood. You had two choices in NOLA - Cubs or Braves. I picked the Cubs and that was probably not the smartest choice, but this year sure has been fun.

It was awesome in 2007 when Theriot and Fontenot would start at SS and 2B. I saw them play the Diamondbacks that season when both started. Theriot stole two bases and Fontenot knocked him in twice. Ramirez blasted a 3 run shot and everyone sang Go Cubs Go.

I won't be at any of the games, but you can find this Twins fan at the bars.
