I'm sure it was real.

But, usually murder-suicides or suspected murder-suicides, with a whole family, make mainstream news, but I cant find an article anywhere outside a wrestling site.

Not to sound callous here but is this for real? I know McMahon "died" so is this part of the script.

It's wrestling...fair enough question.

Unfortunately I heard it on Bubba The Love Sponge, and then looked it up. Very true, in light of McMahon's death scenario.

My guess is there would be a tribute to Benoit now. By the way, McMahon is a complete douchebag for pulling that shite a couple of weeks ago. Its amazing what one will do for ratings. Bet he feels great about himself right now.

i really hope it is not kevin sullivan

i know he used to be woman's ex husband whom benoit was married to until their deaths obviously. and him and sullivan had beef with each other but that was years ago.

i can only believe this is murder and it someone who neither likes benoit nor his wife. and that list would have to be very narrow.

poor kids.

Backstage News On Vince’s Storyline, Tonight’s RAW
Date Added: June 25, 2007
Story By: Andy Steven
Source - PWInsider.com

Tonight’s WWE Monday Night RAW will air live from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. RAW will be a special 3-hour show which will be focused on the Mr. McMahon “memorial service”. Reports are suggesting that WWE are ready to move away from the way that they have been booking the death angle and start a new direction the angle/storyline could be done. UPDATE: Since the tragic death of WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, all plans for tonight’s WWE RAW have been scrapped and they are now scheduled to do a show on the life of Chris “The Crippler” Benoit.

At the start, WWE booked the Mr. McMahon death angle as if it was real. However on last week’s WWE RAW it looked like that they were heading towards more of a comedy act until Stephanie McMahon appeared, saying that their would be swore vengeance and taking it very serious. Even after last week’s WWE RAW a lot of people in WWE were unaware of which direction the company would be taking the storyline.

The current word now on the Mr. McMahon death storyline is to expect lots of cameos from people dogging Mr. McMahon in order to give the storyline more of a comedy end to Mr. McMahon’s “death”. I guess we will see which direction they will decide to go with.

Just read that all the stuff surrounding the faux McMahon death angle has been removed from the front page of WWE. Hopefully he finds a little bit of class tonight.
