I loved that team. Took my oldest (19 now) to his first game in '98 and he still remembers Jose Lima signing a ball for him before the game and talking with him. That was a cool guy.

I regret that I only made it to one Astros game at the dome, but it was the 98 season when Randy Johnson went up against the Cardinals and shut Mark McGwire the frick down

Eighth wonder of the world. My dad went there the first year it opened and saw Koufax vs Robin Roberts. Brought back this huge media guide that I read a million times. Everything about the stadium, the team, both leagues, plus the Oilers and the AFL. Wish I still had that thing.

I really have no idea. I'm worried because I specifically want a pair of yellow seats and those I would imagine are more rare.
I plan on getting there around 7 and scouting out stuff. I doubt I'll stay for the auction at 9:30, but I'm bringing my trailer so ya never know

Anyone have any ideas on how to display these seats? They do not have legs and were mounted to the concrete steps in the Dome. And not straight down, but bolted to the vertical edge of the step behind you.
I'll be putting this in my bar and it will be next to a brick wall, but I'd rather not screw bolts into the brick wall.
Any ideas? You can see the mount for the chair in this pic.
Or should I take this question to a different board? I don't see the stadium seat mounting board though...
