Braves have a stellar group of guys that in a few years will likely be the best in baseball.

And they lost Acuna, Soroka, and Ozuna.

The Braves are in the midst of a renaissance after everyone left them for dead in June/July. Absolute bender of an effort since August to get to this point and they're doing it with the most mix-matched roster we've had in a few years.

Yeah, they were pretty much written off with a below .500 record at the break. They didn't climb above .500 until Aug 6th, and that was a 56-55 record. They finished 88-73, so they went 32-18 from then on, or a 64/36 win/loss %. Only the Dodgers and Giants had that same winning percentage for the year, so the Braves were able to overcome a slow start and got hot in the 2nd half.

I actually think a braves-Astros series might be watchable.

LOL at putting Cubs in there, the fricks made it 1 fricking season. They are perennial losers, no one gives a frick about them.

And only because of sports gambling, fantasy football, office pools, etc

It's the ONLY reason they make major bank.

For christs sake, half the teams cannot sell out 8 home games. Not 41, 8 fricking home games. LOLOLOLOL

Do what? It's not the reason they signed a record TV deal.

Of the top 100 most watched TV shows more than half are NFL games.

I'm sure the owners are LOLing all the way to the bank with over $11 billion in revenue annually.

No idea why this makes you so angry.

And?

It's a higher percentage than D1 CFB or any other pro sport.

Still salty about the '99 LDS I see.
Walt will probably be Snit's successor as manager when he decides to walk away.

Shhhhhhhhh you will confuse the idiot

NFL popularity is 100% tied to fantasy football, office pools, and gambling.

I think they will crush the Atlanta market, but that doesn’t carry national numbers

You do know that Atlanta is the 7th largest TV market in the country, right? The metro area is just short of 7MIL. We aren't a small outpost on the N.Georgia Piedmont.

And still have a national following because of all those years on TBS.

Not even close. Both are top 10 media markets. Braves still have a large following thanks to all those years on TBS. And people who watch to root against Houston because of irrational hatred over cheating.

100%? LMFAO

You gotta link to back that up?

BTW folks don't bet on CFB or have office pools with CFB teams?

Why does the popularity of the NFL make you so angry? Ya don't even have a team in your city.

Interesting because you NEVER brought up this point when you were INSISTING that the NFL wasn't gonna sign a record TV deal.

So now your hopping on this idiots narrative?

Two small market teams

Houston and Atlanta are the 4th and 7th largest media markets in the US, respectfully. Definitely not a " small" market.
