Pippen for Olden Polynice comes to mind. Pippen with Kemp and Payton would have been sick. Kevin Love for OJ Mayo stands out as well.

That wasn't a draft-day trade. And the worst draft-day trade was probably Tractor Traylor for Dirk. The Bucks actually had a nice squad too with Ray Allen, Sam Cassell and Glenn Robinson. Imagine if they had Dirk as well. They would have dominated the Eastern Conference for the next decade or so.

I know... But it was the worst draft day pick of all-time... And that pic gives me the creeps...........

Dirk is literally still working on a HOF career and Tractor is dead.

At the time it was a good pick they had Drexler and needed a Center.
Houston had just formed twin towers
Lakers had Kareem
Seattle had Sikma
The Bulls really didn't want Jordan going into draft they wanted Bowie or Olajuwon

Name a team in the Eastern Conference that would have been better than the Bucks with Ray Allen and Dirk Nowitzki.

What has Tyrus been up to?

Name a team in the Eastern Conference that would have been better than the Bucks with Ray Allen and Dirk Nowitzki.
What if:
Sam Cassell- Lindsey Hunter
Ray Allen- Michael Redd
Glenn Robinson
Dirk Nowitzki - Tim Thomas
Ervin Johnson - Scott Williams

I don't know why that made me laugh so hard.

-Do you know how long a decade is?
-Have you ever heard of defense?
Let's start there.

I specifically recall seeing Frank Deford do an editorial on CNN Sports Tonight right after the draft.
It seems a lot of Chicago press/fans were not entirely happy with missing out on the big men. DeFord concluded his piece by saying something like this:
"Yes I know a lot of people in Chicago are complaining they 'got stuck' with Michael Jordan at pick #3. But in a few years, Bulls fans may be very grateful they have him."
