yeah atlanta used to be a pretty shitty town bc think about like 3 years ago. the falcons sucked, the hawks and thrashers sucked. and the braves didnt make the playoffs.
these last two years, the city has been solid with the falcons and hawks success. obviously that is a little far weather shite, but every city is like that as a whole.

And, unfortunately, true. A lot of 90s Michigan fans were suddenly Buckeye fans at that time.

Red Sox due to Baton Rouge alone. How in the hell is 75 percent of the LSU student body a Red Sox fan? It pisses me off with how many Red Sox hats I see on campus. I haven't noticed as much recently but holy shite in 2005 and 2006 it was mind-numbing.

Most high profile teams, teams with a storied history, and/or teams with suatained greatness have their share of bandwaggoners. Most of the teams mentioned in this thread fit one of more of those criteria.

+1.
I'd have to say could put any major college in this same position post football championship victory.
For day-to-day, gotta go with ND(from personal experience). Don't know if they'd get the nod overal or not though.
