Worst Bandwagon Team

I'm not talking about worst record-wise, i'm tlaking about the team with the most number of pointless fans who know nothing about the team. I'd say the worst ones ever are the Lakers, the Steelers, the Yankees, USC, and Man U.

Manchester United hands down. I always see pricks wearing knock off jerseys with the AIG sponsor logo, and want to ask them many questions to expose their fraudulence. Examples: "Can you name a ManU player, not named Ronaldo or Rooney?" or "How many points above Liverpool is ManU? but the cake lies in "Where is Manchester on a map?"

why does any of this matter? does it take something away from your fandom? does the person wearing this jersey take away from your experience? or is it just insecurity?

Lakers actually have a ton of diehard fans and while there are obviously bandwagoners, they have a very solid fanbase. Unfortunitly for most of them, the average fan has been compeltely priced out of the Staples Center

Texas Longhorns. After they beat USC, I couldn't go anywhere without seeing someone wearing a UT hat.

I'm not sure about Worst Bandwagon...but I do know 100% Sounders have the best fanbase.

OU fans are just as bad. Before their NC in 2000 you never saw OU hats, shirts, flags, ect. Now they are all over the place. What's bad is some fans still call into the local sports talk radio show and can't name one player on the roster. OU has some good fans don't get me wrong but there are pleny of bandwagon fans here in Oklahoma.
