That year book photo is awesome!

I have a bad feeling about the Indians on the bases tonight too. Hopefully Lester keeps them off them.

I still can't believe this is all happening. The Cubs in the World Series...still feels like a dream.

Oh, and if any of you are in Metairie, Lids Locker Room in Lakeside Mall has the locker room shirts, world series shirts, and the official world series hats in stock. Probably not for long though.

12 of the last 13 Game 1 winners have gone on to win the World Series.

Schwarber is DHing in the 5th spot

Coghlan over Szczur still triggers me. I'm also still not sold on bringing in a guy completely cold from an injury in the 3rd game of the season straight into the World Series. I know it's Schwarber, but I just can't see how he'll be able to provide something that warranted taking another completely healthy player off the WS roster. Hopefully he goes nuts and proves me wrong, but I'm not a fan of the move.

Im over it now and said it in another thread. Its been proven that they only need Szczur's bat and underwear to survive.

Just a reminder of where it all started

Also a note of interest for who's behind the plate.

Careers with Larry Vanover as umpire:
Kluber: 12.0 IP, 14 SO, 4 BB, 9 R (6 ER)
Lester: 22.0 IP, 25 SO, 9 BB, 8 R (8 ER)

Yeah, but it is Schwarber.

Ah, got ya.

Wait, WTF? It is Schwarber. That's all you need to know. Even if this move doesn't work, you have to try putting lefty godzilla in there. Last series of the season, you can't hold anything back.

Now Heyward is the designated burn guy to get the lefty to face Wilson in a late spot.
