What scared me about that is Nola dominates for 5 innings and then comes out because of pitch count and Mexico comes back against the bullpen in a low scoring game

Yeah it's gonna be much easier to just root for Italy to win outright.

Mexico is home tomorrow, so if they win Italy will only record 24 outs leaving them with 3 less outs recorded than the US. US would advance based on a lower runs allowed vs outs recorded ratio.

Going back to look at the box, if Mexico scores 5 than either we advance with the outs thing or by less earned runs. We gave up 5 in this game 3 unearned
