If you think about it from the standpoint of growing the game internationally, it makes sense to go by this current eligibility standard for now. Just my opinion.

I got no problem with it. If all the players had to be citizens of the country they play for then only a few teams would be competitive

20 teams for the wbc is overkill

What a boring fricking game. Aussie base running is horrid. I don’t know how they beat the Taiwanese.

It makes me happy to see all these random people from God knows where playing baseball though. God bless America!

Cardinals OF prospect Matt Koperniak was born there. He's the only one that I saw listed as being born there.

Brought my 18 yr old son over to houston for tonight and tomorrow. Got great seats and looking forward to kicking some arse. Honing to be a fun weekend. Hitting corkscrew tomorrow for some Dino ribs!
