Bitch should have her arse kicked. Some people take sports entirely too serious. I get pissed when LSU plays bad or loses but would never allow it to compromise my human decency.

She works at a medical school. The practice of medicine is bound by the Hippocratic oath. An employee of an institution producing doctors and medical practitioners (and I'm not talking about the janitor) should be fired for making statements which callously mock or devalue a person's death. It flies in the face of everything a med school represents and teaches.
On a Karmic level, she deserves whatever she gets

My company's computer use policy includes a provision that if we identify our employer on any social network, we become responsible (as an employee) for everything we post. Understandable because by saying "I work for Johns Hopkins" on your profile, you're associating Johns Hopkins with all of your tweets, comments, likes, etc.

I agree with the latter. I was just trying to rebut SlowFlowPro's suggestion that having her fired is some sort of irrational response. Her statements clearly have professional consequences that are merited

I am happy that I wasn't the only one who noticed that she worked at Johns Hopkins and thought it was somewhat ironic that someone potentially in the medical field would make a comment like hers.
