I would think if her job was to record stuff it wouldn't include personal conversations between lovers, even if that lover is her.

I'm gonna be honest. When I heard the audio tapes it really didnt seem that bad.
He never used any form of racial slurs and even said he loved black people.
It appeared to me that his family\culture or whatever was more racist than him and thats why he didnt want his "girlfriend" posting pics with them bc it makes him look bad in front of his family\culture whatever. He even says how he admires Magic Johnson and thinks he is a great guy but he just doesnt want her to post pictures with him. It's all very odd. The whole conversation almost seemed scripted honestly. I don't feel a young girl like that would talk to her sugar daddy in the manor she did. Trying to be all philosophical and what not. But who knows. I dont live in California, maybe that's just how they speak.
Either way, it makes no fricking sense for him to be racist because his girlfriend is a black person.. but idk.
I can easily see where what he says rubs people the wrong way and be racist but this whole situation is WAY overblown

what he said was stupid, terrible, and nowhere near anything i'd agree with. but, spoiler alert, there are people who are racists in this world (or at least show racist tendencies). a guy who has been sued multiple times for racial discrimination in the past just isn't a shocking candidate for being called a racist, to me.
i won't get shocked the next time jim brown says some stupid, racist shite, either
let me just state this again. if there is one group of people who should sympathize with a rich guy being fricked over by his groupie/side gf, it's NBA players. paul george had his year derailed by a gold-digger claiming he knocked her up this very year
like i've said a bunch, the LEAST interesting part about all of this is the words that came out of his mouth
the whole "racist with a minority gf" angle, the faux outrage, the manufactured outrage, the hypocrisy of the NBA circle (fans, players,coaches, analysts), the possible "nuclear option", etc are all much more interesting

To be fair, most NBA fans who pay attention have long felt that Sterling was an embarrassment to the league. Now the mainstream knows about how crazy he is. That's where the outrage is coming from

Honestly, I'm not sure it's what most people are assuming. Releasing the tape to TMZ would not help, and in fact hurt, her in any civil proceedings.
Let's hone Occam's Razor here for a minute. If the above is true, maybe he was just racist and said enough things to offend even her sparse morals. Maybe she released the tape to TMZ to expose him. I think it will become more clear over time.
Bottom line is that if it was him, I'm glad she did. He should be exposed.

Just because you consort with a minority doesn't mean you can't be racist against said minority.
