I'm really not a Caitlyn Clark apologist or fan, so I really don't care.

I wasn't watching before she got there and I'm not watching now, therefore the race wars surrounding her tenure there don't interest me any more than the games themselves.

All 3 ownership groups also own the stadium. They can pocket all the sales and have something booked for 20+ dates out of the year when nothing else is going on and would just be empty

So they are banking on making money booking concerts. They could have done that without the risk of losing money most of the rest of the year wouldn't you think? Because "all of the sales" you speak of are not guaranteed.

The WNBA is definitely not profitable without all the subsidies and crutches provided by the NBA now - even at it's height - and even with those it is VERY debatable that most teams are profitable even with all that enabling funding.

So, they better hope they book some good gigs those other 20 days, because when the Clark and the other cute white girl storlylines play out they will go back to begging for more $$ from the NBA.

For a league nobody cares about, WNBA threads always end up exceeding four pages.
