The league is getting or has gotten $750 million from expansion fees so it has a cash runway. How long that runway will last given player demands is a question but to say the WNBA will lose money over the next few years would not be accurate.

it's been reported so many times that the WNBA (even with the Caitlin Clark stimulus package) is not a profitable business. they have lost tens of millions of dollars each and every single year for more than a quarter of a century. that's just the facts. that's not bashing them. it's reality.
however, in today's America ... liberals and feminist don't care about facts and reality. what they believe in is STEALING money from others to pay themselves in the "virtuous name of equality" and justifying it by lying and gaslighting the public with false talking points and propaganda stunts like tonight.

Usually expansion fees are not counted in sports related revenue for leagues. Also obviously those new teams will not be included in that revenue.
If the WNBA were to break that precedent ( doubtful because then the NBA would have to do so for their league)
What are their demands. If it's an extra 100k per player, sure
If they want a massive increase into the millions it's not even close to worth it.
They're unrealistic so I assume it's the second thing and they're trying to uswnt their way into money

Why would the wnba get a $200M tv deal? Who is watching the wnba? Seriously? Caitlin Clark is mildly intriguing and I still have genuinely never watched one of her games, I’ll just occasionally look at her stat line on espn. All that this proves is the wealthy have frick you money to light on fire.

The WNBA’s popularity has already subsided tremendously since Clark was drafted last year and it reached an all time high.
Even with ESPN and Nike shoving this down our throats on every social media platform, and making shirts such as “Everyone Watches the WNBA.” the only reason that league has had any financial improvement is because the NBA essentially swings its dick to bully others into paying more for this shite product.
