He was 15-12-2-1 per 36 his first playing season. Ability was never Oden’s problem. Availability was.

Also averaged 6.5 fouls per 36.

Zion was 29-8-3-1 on 58/43/60 splits his first season with 3 fouls.

Then was an all star starter his second season. Now he has the same injury that kept Kevin Durant out for a full season and Joel Embiid out multiple seasons.

The talent level between the 2 is not even remotely comparable.

Zion came into the league with a chip on his shoulder… Then he ate it

Do you disagree that people said he might have a weight issue that causes him not to play?

Not really no. He doesn't take his health seriously.

Neither injury had anything to do with his weight, but his recovery form both certainly did.

Comparing him to Oden is stupid because Oden was never particularly good in the NBA.

Zion was INSANE last year. Literally one of the best seasons ever, especially from an efficiency standpoint.

A Yao Ming comparison might be more apt.

And fyi, I am as hard (but fair) on Zion as anyone.

He's an insane talent that needs to grow up and take his health and conditioning seriously.

I will believe he is next on the court when he actually is, and I think he will get traded sooner or later unless he grows the frick up and separates himself from his family, who suck.

Watch Zion get traded to the Lakers and become a league MVP.

We don't have a clue. No one has seen him in two months, all we know is he's at Nike in Oregon. Not a single picture of him has been taken.

He could be 400 lbs or 260, we don't have a clue.
