Isn't Tcu's defense really Oregon-esque? Sure they are fast, but aren't they really light in the arse? Doesn't Wisconsin have a major size advantage against them?

WIsky can't handle that TCU speed.

yes that TCU speed is too much.

Didn't we hear this leading up to the Rose last year? that the Big X can't handle the speed?

Wisky's O-line has shut down 3 all-american type DEs this year in Cam Heyward, Clayborn, and Kerrigan. They are for realz and the Big X speed is going to destroy the Mountain west speed

I think Wisconsin will shite on TCU, and I may put money where my mouth is. I just hate betting when the game is a month away.

Heyward and Kerrigan are solid, but Clayborn paid someone to be an All-American this year. The dude is the most overrated, out-of-shape, fat piece of shite I've ever seen.

Who's line was bigger, Alabama or Utah? Some of yal don't understand how important technique and schemes are as opposed to pure size. TCU's DL is also extremely athletic. With the additional preparation time, I look for them to come out with a myriad of exotic, well-timed blitzes and really give Wisconsin's offense fits.

Yes that's a pretty critical half point. Just like 7 and 7.5, 10 and 10.5 and so on. GL

I'll wait til Wisky is the favorite and completely unload on TCU.

Betting on bowl games is a dangerous proposition. You never know who is just going to treat the game like a free vacation.

TCU played a crap shcedule, but that doesn't mean they aren't a good team. And Dalton is the kind of QB that scares me in a tight game. He's not the most gifted passer, but he makes plays.

Anyone know the total on this game?

Yea that's the problem with bowl games. Teams who shouldn't win have the entire month to scheme up a few trick plays or whatever to try and make it work.

Maybe TCU comes out in a bear formation and totally stops the run. No one has sold out like that so far this year.

Wisconsin is just going to run the ball down their throat and I will laugh in joy.

Tcu's offensive line is larger than Wisc btw.

Wisc has had 6 games where they managed to score less than 35pt (5 TD's) and in those games they were only able to break 200 yrds rushing once.

TCU has not allowed over 192 yards rushing in a game all year. They have held 2 opponents to under 50 yards rushing, another 2 opponents under 60 yards rushing, another 2 opponents to under 75 yards of rushing, and another 2 opponents to under 100 yards. That's 8 teams, including both of the BCS opponents held to under 100 yards rushing.

Wisc line has given up 3 more sacks this season than TCU's line.

I think there will be many that will either be genuinely surprised, or looking for a plausible excuse in defense of Wisconsin when TCU leaves with a Rose Bowl Trophy.

I love this excuse...

Thank God, Tcu has time to plan and Wisky is so busy with insulating their pipes and shoveling snow that they wont have time to prepare too.

Comparing TCU only gave up X amount and Wisconsin scored under 35 X times while TCU didn't....thats like comparing apples to oranges since the level of competition is astoundingly different.

Thank you, I was waiting for that knee jerk reaction.

Those 6 low scoring games by Wisc were against

San Jose State
Arizona State
MIchigan State
tOSU
Iowa
Purdue

Although 3 of those teams are good opponents, the other 3 suck.

Okay, SJST definitely sucks and I know TCU blew them out...but the Arizona state team didn't suck (They certainly werent great though). They had 6 wins(3 against bowl team) with a loss to oregon by 42-31 (pretty impressive to me). Purdue was bad but certainly didn't suck on the level of SJST
