It's going to be shitty, half effort basketball played by out of shape players that don't give a crap..

So LeBron’s not gonna give a crap going for ring #4?

This just in, basketball players want to play basketball

just tired of always playing Utah.

you wont. there are a few teams right behind houston. utah is only up one on the next team down.
5 or 6 games later the matchups will change.

I think players will want to play because I’m sure it involves getting paid. Also I’m pretty sure there is extra compensation tied to the playoffs which means all playoff teams should care. Lots of these guys depend on getting paid in full.

NBA just needs to shut it down and try again next year.

With no crowd teams will have to get fired up relying on their own benches, which will help the Lakers who had great chemistry, also the Bucks. Unfortunately, Kawhi might have to finally learn the names of his teammates now

NBA continues to drop the ball during their chance to make real headway vs the other 2 major North American sports. Nosferatu is a terrible commissioner and is costing this league dearly.

It's a one-off year so might as well try everything to make it as fun as possible IMO.

Universal 1-16 seeding, single-game play in tourney for the last two seeds, do it all.

Works for me and I’m not much of an NBA fan..... I can see some upsets in this format.

This “70 games” bull shite isn’t gonna fly.

70 seems about fulfilling TV obligations moreso than a particular competitive need.

Teams out of contention usually don't play stars the last 5 games of the year. It's not a great risk/reward when you're eliminated already.

yea, its a tricky situation.

i want a 1-16 playoff, with a play-in tourney for the 15th and 16th spots

im sure this screws some team(s) but would still give everyone an opportunity

Lillard just said if there isn’t a real opportunity to make the playoffs, he isn’t playing.

Basically there will be a play in format, finish the regular season or go straight to the playoffs.

This “70 games” bullshite isn’t gonna fly.
