i mentioned yesterday that if novak wins today the slam tally will probably be 20-18-18 going into next year’s french open.
at the same time, if fed wins today, it might become apparent in novak’s head that he will likely never catch fed in slams. he would need 7 more to pass and let’s face it fed might not be done winning, and with nadal’s continued dominance in paris and the emergence of thiem, who knows if novak will ever win there again.
