Until Neville signs on the dotted line, it is truth.
The freshman, JV and jamboree games are good but Neville needs to put on their big-boy pants and step up.
Typical WM always blaming others

Will Ouachita ever beat West Monroe again? by 4LSU2 The last time Ouachita beat WM was the fall of 1994, the same season Ouachita went to the state championship finals to play Hahnville. Coach Mike Vallery left for Kilgore after that season. That Ouachita team was stacked with talent. Up to that point, WM could not beat Ouachita in any sport. Nothing. OPSB opened up Richwold High a couple of years after that one and all of the athletes effectively scattered. Neville has actually reaped a lot of benefits on that move. Ouachita Parish High School is a shell of its former self. It is amazing to see how shitty they are in every facet.
All this here.

We had Don Shows. They have Tim Whitman. That's your top program changing coaches. Only problem is, Whitman coaches softball.

As soon as they make West Monroe change school district line and not everyone on the west side of the river go to wm.

When Neville beats WM in a game of significance you can say what you want. Until then, shut up.

I don't know when but eventually it will happen it sucks that has been that long. Especially given that the OJHS used to dominate everyone and as soon as they move to high school it's like they aren't even the same teams anymore. Coaching sucked at OPHS when I played and I guess it's more of the same now.

See there's your problem.. You are obsessed with playing Neville... The game has no significance except a rivalry... It won't help you win a championship. We're in different a class and different district. You need to worry about winning playoff games instead

As far as OPHS is concerned, I saw a lot of talent on the field for Ouachita last night at the game. That talent is not being utilized by the coaching. Sub par coaching is/has been the issue at OPHS for a long time. Yes, other successful programs in the area tend to draw the talent away from OPHS but is still a coaching/booster/alumni issue over at Milhaven Road.
I kinda get sick of seeing this same refrain played over and over again. The "talent" that you see on the field are all 5'6 145 to 5'9 165 in size. Ouachita just never has enough big men, anymore. Same is true of the basketball teams, which are always competitive even though there's a lack of height.
Ouachita will beat West Monroe, again; but, this will occur only after WMHS is ever split. The school board zones away players from Ouachita because of Richwood and Sterlington. The school board never adversely affect the Rebels, though.
As for Neville - ever wonder how it gets all the superior football talent compared to Carroll and Wossman?

I have all the respect in the world for Neville. If not for some committed Alumni they would be sucked into that dumpster fire that is the Monroe City School System. Hate when those guys die off.

Find out where your current QB attended middle school then get back to us. Oh and BTW, what about that other kid from a few years ago. Jamond Collins?

If Monroe didn't split up all of the talent to different schools there would be a football powerhouse that would never lose

That's what is happening and has been taking place for several years now. Neville is the only non failing school in Monroe City School system.

Hey, did Grant piss you guys off by making you punt on your first possession?

Glad to see Carroll decent this year. Neville is the only school east of the river worth a damn... even if kids are 'moved' around. People moving north and west sure doesn't help OPHS any for sure.
