You're right he is better technically than most people give him credit for, but I still believe he's going to have a faster and more severe decline then the average wideout.

Sure but there are a lot of WRs who stayed fast for a long time.
Posted on 9/22/20 at 9:56 am to SammyTiger
Correct. I'm more worried about explosiveness and burst then top end speed for him

When healthy he’s a top 5 WR
Jones
Thomas
Hopkins
Adams
Godwin
Hill
Think that group are all better than OBJ if everyone is healthy, can probably throw Evans in there too
Cooper
Ridley
Moore
Golladay
Kupp
Mclaurin
Metcalf
^That's probably the tier OBJ belongs in right now. I can't remember him having a great game against a really good corner in a long time.

Godwin and Adams are all decency bias.
OBJ and Adams came in at the same time and OBJ leads him in every major catagory while playing less games with worse QBs.
Godwin has had 1 good year in a super high volume offense.
I think Jones and Thomas when healthy are 1-2. And both of them are on clear collision courses with the NFL.
Hopkins may be solidly 3.
I think Odell is in the mix with Hill any any other WR when healthy.

His QBs have declined too.
Well if he wasn't a crybaby bitch, maybe that wouldn't have happened. Perhaps he could have gone somewhere better. He did it to himself.

Y’all are both wrong
Besides QB play, Odell’s issues have been and always will be mental
His decline will be swift once it happens.
So no accountability for Odell? You don’t think his shitty arse attitude make him very expendable? A good organization would never send their ‘star’ player to Cleveland (gotta remember how shitty they were when the trade happened)

OBJ had nothing to do with Eli getting old and shitty or the Browns having good trade pieces. So frick off moron.

Shouldn't Thielen be on your list somewhere?
Posted on 9/22/20 at 2:19 pm to Mr. Hangover
So I'm wrong? Then you go on to agree with me saying he will have a swift decline.. I said nothing about the Browns trade. Great players aren't traded usually (unless they have some issues). But if you are going to trade a star who has only been with the team for a small time why would they care who they trade him to?? They want the best value in exchange possible, period end of story. If someone had a better offer they would have accepted

Recheck those stats with different splits. Try comparing the most recent 3 years of stats and you'll paint a different picture. Eli won 2 super bowls... Rogers won 1... All the players listed are gamechangers on any team no matter the quarterback. they don't need excuses. Odell does and it's beginning to look like these recent stats are the new norm for him. When in the last 3 years has he looked the part in back to back games?

That argument could be made but IMO he's overrated
Posted on 9/22/20 at 2:36 pm to RedRifle
the HOF is mainly a popularity contest to get in
he wont get in because he is universally unliked
unless he pulls a keapernick or something to be a racist hero then he wont be on anyones mind when it comes to HOF nomination and voting

And by the way, the Giants would have kept him if he was such a generational talent and not a crybaby bitch.
It’s really paying off for them.

If you don't think the giants are on a upswing we are watching two different teams. They've gotten wayyyyy younger and actually have some decent franchise cornerstones. You not a barkley or danny dimes fan?
Posted on 9/22/20 at 5:34 pm to SammyTiger
And Cleveland is so happy with him they're trying to shop him unsuccessfully.
Posted on 9/22/20 at 5:41 pm to EarlyCuyler3
Beckham is better than anyone on the giants or any other receiver on the Browns.
He just want to play for a functional franchise.

He's not even the best WR on his own team.
Posted on 9/22/20 at 5:47 pm to SammyTiger
Beckham isn't even in the same class or league as an injured barkley. Now I know youre off your rocker

Bet he could outrun him right now.
But I did Mean WRs. Obviously you’re right Barkley is a top 2 back.
