Should he? Hell no. Will he? Probably.
HOF should be for the best of the best. He ain't that.

Monument Park, here he comes

How many all pro seasons has he had?
If the answer is 2 and under then no.
All pro not pro bowl
ETA: just looked, lulz
FWIW he'll probably get benched this year.

Hit submit before I was ready.
I think HOF should be for the very best of a generation. I don't think Eli fits that description. Yes he has the rings but I don't think he's a great QB.

Which week?

Will he get in? Definitely.
When he retires he'll have both the stats and rings to get in. We're talking 50k passing yards and a couple of rings. When it's all said and done, given how people view him now, he may get talked as being underrated.

Agreed. Zero all-pro selections
Good QB but he has been overshadowed by better QBs this era, and he shouldn't get any before any of then.

My point exactly.
What, that I laugh about him eventually being underrated? How many times in his career was he legitimately even considered a top 5 qb? Like 3 seasons?

You're just furthering along my point.
People laugh at him now and consider him overrated. But when the time comes and people do a double take as his numbers and what he accomplished, there are people that will still start saying he's was underrated and just overshadowed by the other great quarterbacks of that decade.

I guess this will happen after everyone who's ever seen him play dies out.

Eli Manning will absolutely be elected into the Hall of Fame.

Tough question.
I'd guess yes, probably not first ballot though

I mean sure he's been outshined in his career by Brady Manning etc. but those guys are all timers. Like either one could be considered tGoat. Eli also bested Brady head to head when the stakes couldn't be higher and came our a winner both time. It's tough to beat Tom in the playoffs

These arguments are weak IMO. Eli faced the Patriots D, not Tom Brady.
