Controversial opinion: I think Brees jumped the gun here, Kaep's no longer in the league, maybe the players who may ultimately kneel will justify and explain their protest better and not undermine it with the bullshite Kaep pulled, and George Floyd thing is unifying since it isn't remotely like the Michael Brown and Alton Sterling events though the riots that kill children, cops, and business owners clearly undermine it big-time. The reason the first kneeling protest failed so miserably is Keep didn't set the narrative in an air-tight and unifying way plus he did it in the wake of the Alton Sterling event where Sterling was a thug and caused his death by being a thug and he undermined his protest with all his bullshite subsequent acts. If these guys set the narrative in a positive and unifying way and clearly stipulate they intend to show respect during the Anthem while still engaging in protest, should be fine.

I think he will apologize as well, but I think it comes tomorrow.

His attorney is working on it as we speak.

I don't understand why Sherman is mentioning black men fighting along side Brees's grandfather. Wouldn't that strengthen Brees's stance of standing together? I don't know; this is all a bunch of nonsense.

LSU fans about to be put on notice...
Jamaal Adams and TM7 call out Brees with TM7 planning on taking a knee in the future it appears.... Eric Reid is a lost cause, what about the Honey Badger

Racism is taught. Brees was already on the fence as a bigot, today it was confirmed, signed, sealed, and delivered. Nothing else for him to say

I'm of the belief that a disagreement doesn't cancel a person. I think Adams and Mathieu are great representatives of LSU although I disagree with some of their opinions.

I don’t really care if people kneel
It’s stupid, as there are less controversial ways to protest, but whatever doesn’t really bother me. If they kneel, it won’t really change my LSU opinion of them
What will cause me to right people off is jumping on Brees for just saying he personally isn’t for kneeling. He didn’t even disagree with their “cause”
Also, Brees has done more for inner city kids and youth of the city I love in than 99.9% of the fake block box pictures
If Jamal and honey badger or whoever want to jump on Brees, they can get fricked with the rest of them. No problem for me

Imagine a country where the guy getting all the shite is the guy saying he won't ever kneel during it's national anthem while the country's flag is displayed.
That's our America in 2020.

So... I guess there is only room for one viewpoint on the kneeling issue? Why is that? Why is there no value whatsoever placed on other viewpoints?
That being said... I bet Emanuel Sanders and Michael Thomas will still catch the passes the throws.

Apparently there is because one side is shitting all over one dude's opinion.

That idiot seriously went to Stanford and earned the grades and GPA he did? After reading that incoherent nonsense, I'm starting to seriously question the value and validity of anything that fool did in college from an academic standpoint.

I 100% support Drew Brees in this matter.
