He better not agree to a fight in Vegas.

That right hand will drop anyone
But Wilder needs to worry about Fury first
If AJ boxes like he did today vs Wilder. It would Wilder swinging at air much like vs Fury.
Wilder wouldn’t need much to test AJs suspect chin though

its going to be so good when it finally happens. If it goes the distance, Fury is the winner by unanimous, if it ends any earlier, its because he was knocked out.
Didn't get to watch today. All I saw was Ruiz was completely outclassed

Ruiz just came to cash a check.

Got to agree. No way in hell he should have come in heavier than he was in the first fight if he was serious about making it a good fight.
The fight pretty much went the way I figured it would with Joshua boxing from the outside and not getting into a slugfest like he tried in the first fight.
Ruiz showed he has a solid chin and did very good mixing it up with Joshua in their first bout, but he was simply outboxed today and Joshua didn't give him many chances to land solid.

Link for what? When I posted, the fight had already taken place and Ruiz lost. Simply outboxed by the taller, more fit man.

WIlder-Joshua would not go the distance. Both fighters have suspect chins.
Joshua has more skill but a low gas tank. Wilder has more power but low overall skill level.

The statement Wilder made has 100% absolutely true. When Fighters fight him they have to be perfect for 12 rounds, he only has to be perfect for 2 seconds.
I know Wilder catches a lot of flack because he isn't a technically sound "boxer" and that's earned. However, when the fricker stretches out EVERY fighter he's faced it't time to give the man credit for what he can do. He's not going to dance around like Sugar Ray or jab you into submission like Holmes but if he every lands that right soup bone on your head you're going to sleep. It's that simple.
I'm so disappointed in Ruiz for that abysmal preparation and performance. He proved all the "experts" right by coming in fat and unprepared for a fighter that had no choice but to change his approach to change the result. Ruiz needs to seriously look no only in the mirror but at his team. His trainers had to know that Joshua would come in planning to keep his distance and not bang with Ruiz again. Piss poor preparation and piss poor performance.
As for AJ/Wilder, that one could go either way. Wilder has just as much if not more range as AJ so he won't be able to stand outside and pot shot a fighter that can't reach him. I think Wilder proved against both fights with Ortiz that he can take a pretty damn good punch and he damn sure has heart to fight through being stunned.
The heavyweight division is one of the best in boxing right now. Any of the top guys can win or lose against any of the other top guys on any given night.
