So is it overkill that child molesters have to tell the whole neighborhood he is moving in? I mean, he did his time. People should get over it, huh?
People that molest children are actually mentally fricked up somehow. Whether they do it again or not, they WANT TO DO IT AGAIN. They are way more of a threat then someone who got busted doing the things Vick has.

Give it up. Pacman put a HIT out on people, hang out with gangbangers, etc. Pacman Threaten to kill someone for looking at his "girl" at a strip club. Who is more dangerous, Vick or Pacman.lol.
Nobody is wanting Pacman banned from the NFL or getting upset at him coming back.

He killed dogs, which is much, much, much worse than killing a human being.
It doesn't matter if he shows genuine remorse, works with the Humane Society, and donates a portion of his check to animal shelters. It doesn't matter that he's paid his debt to society.
You can not ever, ever kill a dog. Only the lowest creature ever to walk the earth would do so.
He should never be allowed to breathe again.

I think the torture aspect is more concerning to me. People who torture animals generally have very deep seeded psychological problems. This guy is completely insane IMO. I'd sign him though.

honestly, I'll probably take some hits for this comment, but I got thick skin, I think it's a general view that black people don't value dogs lives as much as white people, the dog fighting thing is a sport to them, no big deal.

He
this is the first time i think i've ever agreed with you, but seriously, 100% agree.
It's f'ing ridiculous what they are putting him through owning dogs, training dogs, and a few of them dying. so the frick what?
now, all these people feel like he needs to be further punished by goodell and the league. Or serve time with community service. Let it go. Let the man get back to his life and give him a chance for redemption.

The guy did pay his debt to society. I feel what Jared Allen did was much worse.
However, Vick's dog crime wasn't as bad as the time he gave that girl herpes and went by Ron Mexico. Sorry, the dude is a thug.
Once a thug, always a thug.
That said, he should be given a second chance if PacMan Jones was given one. (I view what Pacman did much worse.)
Soph, where did anyone say that what Vick did was worse than harming a human? Vick just managed to leave enough evidence to get caught.

I wouldn't want him on a team I root for first off. Second, everyone says he deserves a second chance which I agree with but where is the rule that the chance SHOULD be in football? Isn't flipping burgers at Mickey D's a second chance?
I question what MV has done in the past for people to be so high on his talent. When exactly has he won or lead his team to some big victory? What kind of leader has he been?
Teams have 55 or so players on their roster. Is bringing MV in important enough to upset some of those 55 dudes? Not everyone on the roster will be 100% for or against him, seems like it would not be worth the risk to possibly split your locker room in half for a dog killer IMHO

I don't know of any blacks that fight dogs. But there's been whites busted in Missouri and Oklahoma for fighting dogs. Most of my friends own pits or rotts and they'd never put their dog in that type of danger. Hell they seem to care about their dogs more than their kids that are living with their baby momma.

I'd think most people in the NFL laugh at the outrage over Vick.lol. Nobody wants Charles Grant, Marvin Harriosn or Pacman banned and they were involved in shootings, nobody is against them on their team so I doubt if they'd be against Vick.
ETA: Guys that are involved in shootings are way more dangerous than Vick. Piss those guys off or try to fight them they'd pull a gun on you. What Vick pulled a gun on a dog.lol.

Child molesters living in a neighborhood where there are children is a whole hell of a lot different from playing a sport where there are no dogs. If you can't see that, then you're fricking blind.
What do dogs being associated with sports have to do with this? The guy did an unforgivable crime and he has to live with it.
quote:
or dumb, which he sounds like by comparin a child molester. pedo's are predators that stalk, and victimize innocent kids, and murder them afterwards, ridiculous comparison.
So Vick didn't victimize and murder innocent dogs?

Animal abuse is a precursor to being a serial killer. It has been proved.

What does Pacman have to do with this? Rya Lewis is still in the league, we are talking about Vick.

Black people don't value the idea of being a father either, but that doesn't make it right.

True. I live in Southwest Missouri on the border of Kansas and Oklahoma and about 40min from the Arkansas border.lol.

And neither of those things has shite to do with playing football.
OK, pulling skanks is a major role of a professional athlete's job, but other than that...

Wow. You lack of logic amazes me.
Sadly, your racism doesn't.

You made a general statement that Blacks don't value fatherhood, which is false.
Lower income people tend to have more broken homes than middle and upper income people, yet you focused only on Black people. Middle class Blacks tend to have both parents raising the children, just as middle class whites do.
So your focus on race is tragically flawed.
But that's OK. It's better to know where people like you are rather than the ones who go behind your back...
