It's not as significant as you make it out to be. Again, look at the SEC QBs out there...

so completing 76% of your passes is normal??

shite Bradford threw 50 TD's last year.

why are there so many question marks surrounding these 2 if scouts and GM's wouldnt have some kind of doubt based on the conference they played in?

have done a lot better than Big 12 guys?? are there even any legit Big 12 QBs in the league??? Vince Young?? anyone else??

at least the SEC can boast some respectable guys...Manning bros, Cutler has been to a pro bowl, Jason Campbell

I mean there are literally no good QBs in the NFL from the Big 12 unless i am forgetting someone.

They just got Freeman in the league, and these two may turn out to do something. Who knows?

I guess you said that Flacco wouldn't amount to anything because he played in I-AA.

The fact remains that the conference where a guy played his college ball is not as significant as the person himself. I happen to believe that the current lack of Big XII QBs (there are 2 starters in the league right now) is more a matter of coincidence than anything else.

Flacco was a transfer from Pittsburgh though.

point is, he was talented enough to earn a scholarship to a pretty good football school

he wasnt just some untalented guy that vaulted his stock at the U of Delaware

he never had the job to lose it. Once Palko started, he hit the ground running. He was pretty good as a young guy there. Flacco saw the writing on the wall and obviously made the right decision

pretty sure Palko was a highly rated recruit coming out of HS
