Link? All I saw was the punch thrown by Blount at the end of last year's game.

I think that's the enduring image most people have about the OU-BSU series.

Why the hate on Boise?

Watching them on TV play a night game at home when they are dressed in thier all blue uniforms, is very painful.

Not entirely true. What is true is that few teams want to go to Boise, where a relatively small paycheck will be the only reward.

If Boise wants to be one of the big boys, it will have to pony up the $ like the big boys. Until they can do that, they won't be treated like a powerhouse for now.

They're one of the newest FBS programs, and it is harder for them to succeed--that's completely fair.

Regarding their conference affiliation, the ball is in their court. They can easily go independent and schedule five home games and seven road games; this will allow them to play more BCS teams, even if that means they will be playing most of them on the road at first. But they won't do that--they, like all middies, choose the stability of a mid-level conference over the gamble of independence.

And THAT'S why none of the middies have a right to bitch.

I'd have to look up to check the last time UO or any Pac Ten team beat the Broncos. Been awhile, I know.

Fiddle with the tint on your tv, and it's green.

You would make a horrible AD.

Do basketball units mean nothing to you? Conference TV revenue?

Independence is a deathblow to any non-Texas, non-Notre Dame program. MAYBE BYU and Hawaii also.

Again I ask: If what Boise's doing is so easy, why can't more non-BCS teams do it?
Great point.

Ok I looked at all the hit link...thanks. I'd be willing to bet a Bronco fan...if we could actually find one here lol...would have similar links.

And a Bronco fan could probably relate some hair-raising stories about Pac Ten officiating as well.

Because they are fricking pussies and would rather do the shite now to get by than join the big boys and get their asses kicked every Saturday. Seriously how can they ever fricking be in a championship game when they are in the fricking WAC and even the MWC.

They think they deserve everything when they don't deserve shite.

You are right... and now they are big timing the little schools (see Idaho) who they are too good to play now.

Also, I believe they just turned down a 2 for 1 with Nebraska saying something like they are beyond the point of playing a one game series or 2 away games for a return trip.

They'd love to join the big boys! They'd accept a Pac 10 offer in a heartbeat...too bad they have juco-level academics.

I never said that's what I'd do.

I'm just saying that if quick football success is important enough to them, they'll make the jump. But they won't. Because they can't. Because when it all comes down to it, they really aren't quite good enough.

And they'll always be silly for saying this unless they become able to provide the financial benefits that the other big schools can provide.

I HATE their field.

I don't care what kind of competitive advantage the blue turf gives them, I hate looking at it. Watching a game at Boise just hurts my eyes, I'd rather not look at it.

It's a cheesy gimmick that a team who wants respect should never have done. It's like a 6 at the bar who wears a clown outfit and then wonders why she's not treated like a 9.
