His skillset is pretty unique for a guy his size.

Meh...they have tried that in the past, but he was pretty mediocre being 'the guy.' Bill Simmons has written many sections about this in his pieces.

A great complimentary piece. Nothing more/Nothing less.

He was on his way to being an All-Star in Miami before being traded to the Lakers.

I don't think his addiction to candy is impacting his playing very much. Sure he eats like 15 Twix bars a day, and that is fricking weird, but seems harmless in the short run

I think he just isn't the type who can be a go to scorer, so he is happy being the third man on some very good teams.

odom just doesn't want to be "the guy"

he did somewhat change after leaving la the first time, and after his kid died

no focus, somewhat lazy and his priorities are not BBall, just the benefits that come from being a Laker...

but every now and them you see him dig deep

I think he's inherently lazy and doesn't want to give it his all every night/consistently...if he did he would be a superstar.

He was on entourage though...

i think y'all confuse his passiveness and lack of confident for laziness

odom had to "get away from his demons" (aka weed) and leave la. he's back off the wagon now that he's been traded back?

odom used to be my favorite player in the nba, and the fact that he was on the clips made it even that much better

his inability to be a leader and be "the guy" led to that nucleus falling apart

I actually do not think he is talented enough. Neither nor Gasol nor Odom could be #1 options on a contending team.
