He earned the nickname "Big Game Bob" for a reason though.

He actually earned it early in his coaching career when he was winning big games all the time. Since the losses to LSU USC and Boise it kind of steamrolled into a sarcastic thing

UF hasn't?

Auburn hasn't?

A&M(recently)?

Because beating Big XII opponents doesn't carry much weight with the college football cognoscenti and Oklahoma hadn't beaten many quality non-Big XII opponents recently.

nailed it.

The SEC has obviously been better than the Big12 but no one we play besides Bama has been consistent the past 5-6 years

I would say in the nine years Miles has been at the helm Auburn has been more consistently good than bad. Same with UF. Same with Georgia. Throw A&M in the mix now, plus the random 10-11 win season by Arkansas...

LSU's only consistent "real game" the last few years has been Alabama

LSU plays a tougher schedule year in and year out than Oklahoma.

Bo Wallace ole miss is better than all the bottom rung shite that is rolled out there every year in the big 12

14-0
8-5
3-9
12-9

Never said Oklahoma plays a tougher schedule, but it isn't like LSU plays a lot more tougher games than OU does either.

Stoops is easily a top 10 coach nationally. Remember, OU was very mediocre throughout the 90s. If you can get past the 55-19 debacle against USC, his tenure looks much better IMO.

How are the Sooners a joke? I seem to recall a 77-0 OU victory over A&M in 2003.

Eleven years does not equal 1.5 decades.

And 77-0 is pretty hard to forget, not to mention relevant to this discussion re: Stoops.

That clown has posted in numerous threads I have posted in. I guess after joining the SEC some Aggies repressed memories of the beatdowns OU gave them, and my presence made his PTSD kick in.

I guess that explains it. I am not a Sooner or Aggie or Horn, so I have no bias here. I just thought it was strange for him to bash OU football.

Most of them think that cfb started in 2012.

Am quoting a WSJ analysis I posted here a couple of years ago. Said stoops was overrated for getting players to pros. Broke it down by the numbers
