Because people only care about established sports leagues. A fact that has been hammered home dozens of times yet rich people make the same mistake over and over again trying to start a new one.
Honest question? Why do some minor league baseball teams have some fans typically in attendance?

1. Area not safe about .5 miles north of stadium. 2. There is ZERO parking. 3. Concessions overpriced and meh (this is my take everywhere except in Pittsburg Pirates stadium) 4. There is ZERO parking. 5. Traffic is bad even with the limited fans. It takes 40 mins to get to the interstate.
Bro…WHAT?
There’s not a ton of parking, but there are three designated lots, a parking deck, and various lots nearby.
There are high crime areas near almost every downtown sports venue. But you don’t park north of the stadium. Everything is south.
How did you hit traffic for a USFL game with 5000 people?
And yeah, concessions are overpriced. My son and I had free tickets. Paid $20 for parking. $40 for 2 hot dogs, a pretzel, waters, and a bag of Skittles.

USFL has a crappy product at a premium price
The product may be crappy, but tickets are $10 and everyone under like 16 gets in free.

Cheap tickets, they do fun goofy promotions, there are talented young ball players who are MLB bound, it’s fun to sit in the stands and watch a game in the spring/summer.

If they were playing in my backyard for free, I wouldn’t bother watching.

Glad the Breakers are winning but it's a real downer to have local channels broadcast another game while our team is playing!

To be fair, I attended the:
1. Auburn bowl game
2. UAB vs Liberty football game
3. The 1st Stallions game.
All had at least 20,000 or felt like it.

I wouldn't allow crappy football like that in my backyard.
