The winners of those games would surely disagree that it hurts them.
Very good chance that 2 of the top 4 teams (most likely top 3 honestly) get matched up in regular season, and puts the loser at risk for not making it to the playoffs.
Save it for the bowl matchups.
Now, if you drop the bowls entirely and push it to a 16 team playoff, I'm all in.

Would love this. I want Michigan, but Michigan wants no part of LSU.

I'm confused why a long time "qb coach" would take Tebow in round 1.

Going 5-9 year in and year out won't do much for the popular perception of the B10.

This could happen with the middling to bottom teams in both conferences, but those at the top of chain, way 2 much to lose.

I would 100000% get behind this. I would bet the overwhelming majority of B1G fans would support this. Would SEC fans?
10000% absolutely. Been wanting something like this. While I like supporting in state schools by giving them millions of dollars to come play, They don’t get you ready for having to play the kinds of games you have to play late in the season leading up to a national championship.

Yeah, but I agree with an earlier statement, going to a 16 team playoff, it would work and be great for college football.
