ABC and ESPN have done very well with Monday night's prime time block during football season. It only makes sense to take advantage of 45-year-old viewing habits one more time.

Compete with nfl playoffs?great idea.

Monday allows for a weekend experience similar to Super Bowl. It's fun to be a part of.

All the NFL playoffs have to do is slide the games up. Play at noon then at 330 and then play the NCG at 730 or 8. Everybpdy wins.

NFL Playoffs take precedent. Besides, I'm not complaining. It gives me something to look forward to on Monday night. It should be a great game.

Then who is going to watch the 3 hour college football Pregame show?

You really think 5 minutes is going to make that big of a difference?

I would play the game on Sunday evening. Have kickoff at 8:30pm Eastern time. This allows for an hour pregame show since the late afternoon NFL playoff game will end no later than 7:30 pm Eastern.

They would get bigger ratings on Sunday evening versus Monday evening. More people watch tv on Sunday than Monday.
