WHy is Cutler considered a jerk?

I have read this in a number of places. What is the deal. Other than his on the field stats, I don't know much about him and the douchery.

I've thought Cutler was a douche before it was fashionable to hate on him.
He was a complete arse during and after the Florida-Vanderbilt game in '05. His dad was also caught on camera being a complete douche and mocking the Gator chomp. Complete lack of respect and sportsmanship from both of them.

He doesn't like the media so they make him seem like an a-hole. The dude just wants to do his job and be left alone and people call him an a-hole for doing that.

Cutler=aloof, weird, does not engage the reporters to their liking.

I enjoyed Glen Dorsey abusing him at vandy, especially with his mommy crying her eyes out cause he was being abused.
