Play way too many regular season games (MLB as well)

because its basically became extremely predictable entertainment nowadays rather than a legit sports league. especially the NBA playoffs. its damn near like watching "professional wrestling". you know when the playoffs roll around the NBA is going to do everything they possibly can to extend each series for more money and have their officials help push certain teams through. certain teams meaning the big money making teams that draw good television ratings and sell the product the best.
