It really is odd how bad he is at playoff performances. He didn’t seem to press yesterday in terms of forcing bad shots, he just couldn’t make anything. I still see Kawhi being good enough to take down the magic, but they are in trouble when it comes to later rounds.

Because everyone coasts during the regular season. Playoffs is the only time you see coaches gameplanning extensively for a particular opponent and guys actually playing their arse off defensively over consistent periods of the game.

He doesn't play all that much worse than he does in season. There is just less opportunity for him to balance out the bad games.
