Why does ESPN air shows back to back on ESPN and ESPN2?

It just aired on the regular ESPN and then immediately came on ESPN2
It's been said before but frick that channel sucks

b/c most people are driving home from work at 5pm
when i used to work 9-5 i could catch the replay at 6pm

Uh that's exactly what they do
It's counter-programming when you have multiple channels airing the same main product
It's a time zone thing too
The 4p edition (cst) airs on espn
Lots of cst livers aren't home at 4, can catch it at 5 on the duece
