How?? I will never understand this. It's extremely disrespectful to put Rodgers ahead of Brees.
if you want to argue that longevity is better than peak than go ahead. but to act like its extremely disrespectful to put rogers ahead of brees is wild when rogers peak may have been the single best QB play we have ever seen

If they’re just going from 2010 on and including the SB season as 2009 I don’t think it’s that ridiculous at all. I just don’t know how they classified that portion.
This makes no sense.
Also Brees over the past 5 years is probably higher rated at most quarterback stats.. so even late in Brees career he is still among the best.
Brees took over for a 3 win franchise and took them to the NFC championship in his first season.
Since joining the Saints up until the Bounty Gate BS around 2012, no other QB in the entire NFL had more wins than Brees. I recognize wins aren't the tell all stat for a QB, but Brees has a majority of the QB stats as well.
It's absurd to rank Rodgers ahead of Brees.
Also, durability should factor in as well.

All I know is Brees submits better playoff numbers than Peyton and much of Peyton's losses occurred when his teams were the higher seed, hows that for CHOKING, Tennessee

Anyone giving manning credit for that 2nd super bowl didnt watch any football that year

Ummm 2009 Super bowl season says otherwise. Brees had better statistics in basically every passing category than Manning and they still give the MVP to Manning solely because of who he was. Unfortunately Brees has always been the bastard step child to the NFL compared to Brady and Manning.

Drew Brees gets nine indoor games a year in the regular season.
He has better talent around him than Rodgers.
Rodgers has two lost seasons from a left-broken collarbone and then a right-broken collarbone. He played a full season with a broken bone in his leg, as well.
His receivers last year were Adams, who is actually good, and then a 5th-round second-year player, four UDFA.
The tight-ends were Jimmy Grandma, an UDFA, Mercedes Lewis, who is really old, and third-round pick Jace Sternberger who missed half the season because during a joint-practice, some idiotic rookie put a hit on him during a non-contact drill and gave him a concussion.
Rodgers' seasons where he actually had talent were, quite possibly, the highest level of quarterback play ever seen

Drew Brees has had 1 pro bowl WR in 14 seasons in New Orleans

Yeah, I looked it up. You didn't include Jimmy Graham, conveniently.
Right now, Rodgers has garbage outside of Adams.
You would have to factor in Offensive line and running game, plus coaching, and weather.

For a guy who changed the game so much mentally, sure had a propensity to choke in the high-stakes playoff games most of his career.
The post you replied to was referring to a few different QBs. Are you talking about brees?
Posted on 4/12/20 at 9:30 am to Mr. Hangover
Brees is Frank Tarkington and Warren Moon. Puts up a lot of meaningless stats and his teams are only worth a damn when they have great defenses and take the ball out of his hands.
Those are facts and you low IQs can’t handle that truth.

In all his years in new orleans the saint have had 2 above average Defenses. Never really great

You are such an idiot

Include Jimmy Graham then, that makes 2 lol. And it’s quite apparent that Brees made Graham.
Still far inferior to the group Rodgers had from 09-14 or so.
