There is no logical world where Drew Brees isn't a top 10 all time QB. There's no logical world where he's not top 5 either, but let's start at 10.
The guy who owns the record book also doesn't have 1 MVP award, and most certainly has deserved one, so...

Brees has been better in the playoffs than Manning and Brady, and it's not close.
You may want to laugh and disagree, but the data shows that to be true. Brady does not play QB better than Brees in the playoffs, he simply doesn't for his career. His team does, his defense does. The position of QB in the postseason is played better by Drew Brees than Tom Brady. That's not even controversial, it's just so.

What a dumbass take. Brady, Manning, and Brees were the three best QB’s of the 2010’s and arguably top 7-10 all time. No one will remember Rodgers in 20 years outside of Packers fans.

Unfortunately if you don't have the MVPs, All Pro selections, and whatever it's tough to break into that top 3 type territory for most people. I don't think it's disrespectful at all.

The most important is a QB is 1 player who is on the field for less than 50% of a game.
If QB A in the postseason has better QB numbers AND his offense averages more points, yards, and less turnovers for his postseason career than QB B, but QB A's team is less successful, what does that tell you?
Also, Brees has a better playoff record than Dan Marino and a SB bur Marino still gets ranked ahead of Brees while people say Brees is not disrespected.

A lot of those stats were on mediocre teams who had mediocre seasons. When he had good teams, he underachieved. When he had great teams he some how found ways to choke in the playoffs. Show me his playoff stats.

I don't get it either. At this point few if any argue with him being a Top 10ish all time QB. You can definitely make a case that he's top 5, but to act like he's a slam dunk top 5 all timer and there's NO legitimate argument to the contrary is just ridiculous homerism.

Marino led the league is passer rating once in those 3 seasons, the only time in his career. Brees has done it twice.
Marino led the league in yards 5 times, Brees 7. Marino led the league in TDs 3 times, Brees 4. Brees also has a higher TD% and lower INT%.

None of those are dramatic differences so not sure why that's dispositive of anything.
It's a debatable thing, not saying that there's not an argument for Brees to be up there higher than Marino, just that it's not a stone cold slam dunk lock that's beyond any discussion whatsoever. If you watched both of them play you'd know they are both all time greats and comparable in the history of the game.
