I go to ULL and I can say that while there are some that go out of their way to hate LSU (one example being that they will jump on the Bama bandwagon), I'd say most either do not care or they also cheer for LSU. The group that goes out of their way to hate LSU are an over-sensitive bunch that does not make up near the entire enrollment of the school. Most of my friends that graduated from or attend the school are fans of both. I have family that graduated from both, and I've been a casual fan. I support all of the schools here, and I think it'd be great to have more than one relevant football team or athletic program in this state. I feel like many LSU fans would hate this though. So a better title for this should've been Why do SOME ULL people hate LSU...
It goes both ways, it really does. Any ULL thread I've ever seen on here has had some LSU fan comment in it to start shite. For ULL's bowl game there were several. Why do some fans of LSU care so much about things having to do with ULL? There are idiots from both sides, some ULL fans being envious, and then you have the spoiled LSU fans that feel everyone should bow to the almighty king. See the rant, most of the morons on there a fit for a straitjacket. This whole topic is becoming very tired though.

Yeah I've tried that one in the last couple of these threads. They don't get it, too much logic involved.
Maybe metaphors involving pipe fittings and coil tubing would help them understand better?
