I was happy for the fans. They were REALLY stoked. That game should not have been close anyway. ULL was the much better team.
I gave high fives and pats to all the LSU haters. If you can change one...
I live downtown and I will say it got a little redneck outside the window, but that is to be expected for any LA team. Instead of being in the bars, a LARGE group were partying by their cars. May have been underage.

I don't hate your school. I just like to get under Hendo's skin. In fact, it's the premise of this thread that makes me chuckle about the ULL/LSU thing. The Cajun fans seem to all hate LSU. I have a few facebook friends that went to ULL, and they never miss a chance to bash LSU (of course, it could be the same posters from here
). For example, Tyran Mathieu doesn't win the Heisman and that's a chance to bash LSU. Oooh, your man didn't win the Heisman, ha ha! quote:

My point was not to bash the ULL traveling group. It was just to add that you shouldn't get angry for someone showing up to your game that is not a lifelong Cajun fan.
As for the wearing LSU hat or jacket to the game. You claimed it was stupid. Really, did the SDSU fans give any person wearing LSU gear a "Roll Tide"? Because honestly, they are about as big as a "rival" to LSU as ULL is. LSU/ULL does not equal Bama/Auburn. LSU/ULL does not equal Michigan/Ohio St.
You see, LSU fans are used to putting behind in season rivalries to pull for their SEC companions during bowl season. I know you guys had to notice that ULL got a lot of love on the MSB last night during the game. We all feel a small part of pride in Louisiana and pull for our in state teams just like we do for other SEC teams during bowl season. Sadly, come Jan. 9th, most of those 20,000 that traveled from Lafayette to New Orleans last night will not be pulling for LSU.
