Why do Tech, ULoL, and Tulane fans root for Bama so hard?

It’s quite the phenomenon. They root hard af for Bama to beat LSU. What’s the deal with that?

Reminds me of when I was rooting for Ole Miss against ULoL in the supers in like 2014, and this girl got super pissed at me, and made a huge Facebook rant about me, and blocked me. But I guess I get it. I’d be Ragin too if I couldn’t beat LSU

Because Alabama is coached by a football coach. LSU has been coaches by sub 100 IQ mascots for the last two decades.

I was fairly indifferent on tonight's game but leaned towards pulling for LSU cause that would be hilarious to see them ruin bamas playoff chances. Why do you think of your "little brother" fans after you lose? Does it make you feel better or something?

No. I just see my Tech, ULoL, and Tulane friends saying Roll Tide on their social media accounts and stuff like that. Even know someone who was at the game tonight, wearing Bama gear. Like does LSU bother some of y’all that bad that y’all have to buy a ticket, and go all the way to Tuscaloosa, to watch a team you hate? Like we get it, you aren’t smart enough to get into LSU, but jeez the jealousy is quite ridiculous.

In Ruston you can't be a Tech fan and a LSU fan for some reason, it's frowned upon.
Looking at it from out of state everyone should root for the state school and if you have your little sister school then go root for them too.

Whats weirder to me is when LSU fans cheer for other (non-alabama) SEC teams in bowl games..

That’s really a damn impressive run, and couple with that is a 2019 season that might have been the best ever by a college football team.
Yet such a large portion of the LSU fanbase is so disturbed by that little school 45 miles to its West, they can’t just enjoy their own success.
