Why do people hate UCF?

They have a 23 game win streak. People say their competition sucks. So be it...people say UCF sucks. If they, and the competition, suck...then 23 straight wins against equal competition is pretty damn good.

Why the hate for them getting Gameday? That’s the same show that has gone to Amherst v Williams and some North Dakota State games.

If you are an SEC fan, or fan of any P5 team, shitting on UCF only reveals insecurities. It’s like when the Bama fans were ruffled about the Knights claiming a title. Who cares? Besides, something tells me they could beat a handful of SEC teams more often than not.

They might have been tolerable for most people if they didn’t call themselves national champions without ever playing in a national title game.

Deep down inside they know UCF could probably kick their team's arse

UCF would compete evenly with every team in the top 15 outside of Bama and Clemson.

Unlike Boise State, UCF is unwilling to sit in the corner and accept the crumbs thrown its way. That triggers people.

I get that some of it is obnoxious, but I'd be more embarrassed if we just sat there and gave up. Fan interest and attendance is up in Orlando, and it's great to see. And, the team is quite good. Obviously we're no match for Bama or Clemson, but neither are, say.... 125 other FBS teams.

In what other sport can you go undefeated in your classification, without sanctions, and not be given the chance to prove that you are the best team in the country?

if the CFP committee doesn't want to give them a shot this year, they will never give them a shot. UCF and the rest of the G5 should form their own subdivision, because they are not being given equal clout that other P5 teams are being given.

I don’t hate them. Screw it, let them play. Notre Dame, Clemson, Alabama/Georgia and UCF. The big 10 screwed themselves. Let’s do it.

I honestly think people hate them because of their fans.

They would lose by 40 to any top 15 game if the other team cared and wanted to win.

They would get absolutely crushed in the playoff.

They could go independent and bet on themselves like BYU did... Play the P5 teams in September, Army (ranked), ND, and BYU later on.

Lets be honest, the G5 conference stigma holds teams back

So, for example, if they played the SEC West division champ head-up they would lose by 40?

Hell, I'll even get more specific, how much would they lose by if they played the 2017 SEC West Champ?

But Auburn is above new years bowls, and they didn't care.

B/c they claim a national championship because of one minor, off the wall, wacky poll.

You do realize both teams have to agree to a game, right?

Remember when everyone thought Hawaii was going to beat UGA in the Sugar Bowl?
