Possibly.

The basketball program definitely has staying power. The program is much bigger than one man and has been a national player since the 1950's. They'll come out on the other side of this OK.

Football is where they may be hurting long-term without Jurich. That remains to be seen.

The new Big East isn't garbage.

They have two #1 seeds in this tournament and both are still in it. Villanova won the whole thing two years ago and could run the table again. Xavier is my pick to win it this year.

I didn't say it was but I loved the old Big East. Just an awesome basketball conference
