Freeman seems like a good guy. One advantage he has over Kelly is age. Even if they were neck and neck at this point Freeman potentially having 20+ years left is an advantage for Norte Dame.

Why did Kelly finished ranked higher than him last year after taking over a dumpster fire program and Freeman took over a top 5 program KELLY BUILT FOR HIM?

But sure starting qb is a meaningless position.... its not like teams have been completely left out of the playoffs for simply losing their starting qb.

who knows but for 4 mil a season it would have been much easier to cut our losses if it didn’t work out at this point
