Davis will never be the #1 guy on a championship level team, ever. Great player, but he needs someone to be the Alpha dog, and he's soft as charmin.
Maybe you're right. But maybe you're wrong. My point is that he has never really played in a meaningful situation. Lots of players haven't. I'd say he certainly has the talent/potential to be a #1 guy.

lake show doing it bc LeBron age and west wide open now
35, 36, and 37 year old LeBron in his 17th, 18th, and 19th NBA seasons is not competing for a Championship, with or without Anthony Davis.

I get teams wanting AD and agree with those saying he's a top 5-7 player in the league. Two things would give me some pause though, 1st is that you're only getting him for one year and the other is that he's been injury prone (never a good sign for a big man to have multiple injuries early in career).
I could understand the Pelicans not wanting to deal with the Lakers with how it went down a couple of months ago. However, it's more a situation of the Lakers likely only offering crap (Ball, Ingram, and that they didn't get a top 3 pick in lottery).

Idiot lakers fan base pissing their money away. Rememwver when lebron signed last year they were the 2nd favorite behind GOAT to win the title. Vegas loved that.

Exactly, LeBron is well out of his prime and the fanboys out there still heavily bet on him. Vegas is happy to oblige with the free money.

There have been casinos built off of the house winnings from lebron stans who prop bet that his squad will win the title .

Truth. The guy has 3 titles in 16 attempts.
We saw how much of a drop off he took these past two years. Especially from a driving standpoint and a lack of defense. He’s become more of a jump shooter because the first step and explosion isn’t there anymore.
It’s wishful thinking to think that at age 35 and on it’s going to be a cakewalk.

if they could somehow get klay that would be a really tough trio

LeBron and AD are both great players when healthy, but neither will last an 82 game season and playoff run. LeBron due to his age and AD because he is a pussy. Cant wait for Lakers fans to implode again next year.

He hasn’t even won one without a Super team. He has as many titles as Charles Barkley if we don’t count the times he had two other all nba teammates.
