These guys colluded and structured their contracts years in advance to win bc apparently they knew they couldn't hack it apart from each other. The year bf they came together, Wade, Lebron, and Bosh were ALL top 5 in PER. How is winning, then, that big of a deal?
And yet in year 1, you thought the Lakers would beat the Heat in the Finals if they met up?

So which is it? They are super awesome and winning shouldn't impress us? Or they aren't that great and a team that was swept in round 2 of the playoffs would beat them?

So, I want to make sure I understand your point, you're saying that players shouldn't just want to win, they should try to put themselves in the toughest spots possible, and make it really hard to win as opposed to giving themselves the best chance at winning?

Help me understand.

They voluntarily and legally engaged in a contract. Get over it.

Compare Eastern Conference Finals Heat with NBA Finals Heat and write back to me.

Jordan forced out guys he didn't like - Collins, Cartwright and Perdue and pushed for guys he wanted Jackson, Rodman and Pippen.

It wasn't collusion because Jordan had all the power and was calling the shots.

Is that somehow better?

Acutally, it did nothing of the sort.

It didn't explain to me if or why players should take the toughest route possible to win a title.

As tough as it could have been, yes. Cleveland was the team he was on and they weren't going to trade him, so feel free to explain how it could have been tougher.

Was it tougher in Cleveland or Miami?

Doesn't seem like you can complain about collusion as a fan of a team who acquired the league's best center for a couple of dirty nickels.

What does this have to do with Miami? Did Gasol and Kobe plan Bynum's injury which forced the Lakers to trade? Did Gasol force Memphis into that trade with LA? Did Kobe force Memphis to trade?

LA gave up freaking Marc Gasol to get Pau, arguably the best true center in the NBA today. WHAT A NICKEL!!!
