I know when saints gameday threads go sour on drew brees, i think the people have to be under 21 years old bc there is no way after watching
Aaron Brooks
Jeff Blake
Billy Joe tolliver
Danny Wuerffel
Kerry Collins
heath shuler
Jim Everett
There is no way you can watch drew brees and EVER COMPLAIN about QB play. I will say Everett had one awesome year, and brooks has a nice run, but nobody will ever be Brees again, we should enjoy it

How has no one said Aaron brooks?
Because you'd have to be an idiot to say the second best QB in team history was the worst player to start for the Saints

Mark Sanchez. What do I win?
Nothing because he's not even close to being your worst player (Vernon Gholston/Ahmad Carroll) let alone your worst QB.
Ever hear of Browning Nagle?

I agree, i think sanchez is alot like david carr. I think he has the ability but for some reason(Ny Media pressure) he was just never able to develop bc of the unreal expectations as a top 5 picks and those AFC title games early in his career thanks to an insane defense
Also doesnt help when fat frick rex ryan is yelling and screaming like a petulant child all the time
If anyone saw mark sanchez' first nfl game vs the texans you would have thought he was gonna be a hall of famer, he was play actioning the frick out of us, he looked like such a stud that game

Jeff Blake
Wasn't he having a career year when he got hurt?
ETA: Looks like he would have finished at about 3,000 yards, which he only did twice in his career but I don't think you can complain about that too much.
Him getting tackled from behind and getting hurt led to Aaron Brooks. Who promptly was awesome and then the most hated guy on the team.

Aaron Brooks made the saints relevant again. You people are dumb. Yes agree he didn't have the work ethic to develop or improve his game but by far not the worst saint in history. I actually liked watching him when he was successful

William Gay for the Steelers. I was so happy when they got rid of him, but now he's back.

Brandon Meriweather. He tackled Dmac more than he tackled the opponents.

Russell Erxleben
Billy Kilmer
A whole bunch of D players from the 70's & 80's
Some of you young bucks have no idea just how bad the Saints used to be.
