I scrolled through four pages and didn’t see any threads on this topic yet. I gotta go to sleep but here is mine.

LSU
Ohio St
Clemson
Georgia

Oregon and Oklahoma first two out. Yes I’d jump the Sooners over Utah but barely.

I think the top 4 should stay the same - whatever reason you used to put LSU past Ohio State last week hasn't really changed. Ohio State has always been more complete, so that's not new.

LSU
Ohio State
Clemson
UGA

I'd put Oklahoma into the top 6, but I don't think the CFP will. I think it's still Alabama and Oregon there.

You can't drop Alabama because of Tua until you see more out of Mac imo.

Sure you can. The only reason Bama was #5 was due to "eye test". Their resume still sucks, but now they have lost some eye candy.

Yea I think the top 4 stays the same until next week at least. If OSU beat PSU by 20+, then I think the flip happens

I think you may have a flip next week and then a re flip if LSU beats a top 4 Georgia.

there won't be any flip. Yeah LSU gave up a lot of points, but Ohio St gave up 21 to Rutgers. If we're going the "style points" route, that doesn't look good.

Eta: I took your next week as next week's rankings, but looks like you're talking about next week's games. Yeah that's fair to say.

Fully expect this to happen.

Or it may not cause OSU would also have a win over Michigan and a ranked team in the B1G title game.

Could be a fun next couple weeks for sure

That one seed is quite massive this year, dont remember it having that many ramifications in years past.
I see people making fun of the Clemson fans here, but that's a team you don't want to play. They're not "sexy" this year but they are beastly in the trenches. That's a problem

The top 4 are pretty universal

LSU
Ohio St
Clemson
Georgia

I think they'll keep it Alabama then Oregon next, but whether Bama is at 5 or 6 is rather irrelevant because they have nowhere to go but down barring chaos. Oregon (or Utah) will def jump them at the end. Oklahoma will now also likely jump them too.

If a 12-1 Oregon beats an 11-1 Utah, they aren't getting left out...unless the committee is just full of total SEC shite these days.

Given some really crap SEC schedules, most notably Bama, how can you not take into consideration they got blown out in the Champ game last year with basically the same team back...but now without their star.

If everyone wins out...

It has to be:

LSU
Ohio State
Clemson
Oregon

Herbert is having a monster season that nobody is talking about. Mariotta won the Heisman with his numbers. Dude has thrown 28 Tds and 3 picks.

LSU
Ohio State
Clemson
Georgia (Here until they lose to A&M or the SECCG)

Oregon
Utah

Looks pretty likely Oregon and Utah are going to finish 11-1 and shut the door on Alabama.

Oklahoma 7

The Pac 12/Big 12 debate could be interesting if Oklahoma wins out

It is crazy how much the seeding matters. LSU absolutely does not want another SEC team in the top 4 because I would fully expect the committee to finagle with the rankings to avoid an all-SEC semifinal.

For now I think it stays unchanged. I’m not sure I would have gone with the rankings the committee had, but using them as the baseline, there’s no reason they should change.

This.

Idk if it reflects this week, but the “eye test” argument is gone for Alabama.

I think it should be:

1) LSU
2) OSU
3) Clemson
4) UGA
5) Oregon
6) OU
7) Alabama
8) Utah
9) PSU
10) UF

I think it will be:
1) LSU
2) OSU
3) Clemson
4) UGA
5) Alabama
6) Oregon
7) OU
8) Utah
9) PSU
10) UF

I think the question is how are 5/6/7 arranged
