Kevin Faulk--Carencro

Chris Ryan--Sulphur (drafted by the Atlanta Falcons out of Jr. college. Would have made it in the NFL if he had just the intelligence of Brandon Jacobs)

William Buford who is heading to Ohio State next year to play basketball. He was awesome when I saw him play. He had 41 points and 17 boards. He was Ohio's Mr. Basketball.

Does anyone remember a RB for Covington in the late 80's and early 90's? Nixon???
I think he was one of the best on the Northshore, but he didn't make it to the Division I level because of grades or something.

Played high school baseball with Russ Springer, against Terry Matthews and Kevin McGehee. All made it to the bigs as pitchers. Springer is still there (St.L).

All three were excellent batters in high school too. Springer was a hell of a basketball player. Took us to the state championship game. Lost to St. Thomas Moore.

Neal Anderson from Pensacola Florida.....guy was a beast. Ended up at Florida and took Walter Payton's starting job with the Chicago Bears.

No he didn't, a 33 yr old payton announced he would retire after the 87 season and they split carries. He had like 1300 yds the year before while anderson watched from the sidelines. Took payton's job? please! that's retarded. that's like saying aaron rodgers is "taking" brett favre's starting job
